Coursebook is devoted to 30-hours lecture course on Environmental Protection, delivered by the author for more than 9 years to polish and international students studied in English at the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology.
The main objective of the book is to provide the undergraduate students with the necessary knowledge on Environmental Protection that will help them in their future career. Obtained knowledge will be also useful in the course of 1st and 2nd level studies, especially in interim and diploma projects preparation.
Future engineers who will develop Electric and Hybrid Vehicles need fundamental knowledge on finding proper solutions to environmental challenges. This book will allow them to study various aspects of the natural world with the focus on issues related to pollution, treatment technologies, waste management, air quality and ecosystems protection.
